Brown Sugar Worth Over Rs1.23 Lakh Seized in Bargarh, Woman Arrested

Bargarh: Acting on specific instructions from Excise Superintendent Suban Kumar Nayak, the Excise Department conducted a raid in Mahantypada area of Bargarh town around 4 PM on Tuesday. During the operation, officials seized 12.3 grams of brown sugar and arrested a woman named Ranjita Tandi from the locality. The estimated market value of the seized contraband is around Rs1.23 lakh. Further investigation into the case is currently underway.
