With US President-elect Donald Trump building his cabinet, senior officials of Joe Biden administration will hold virtual deliberations with the Indian side for the inaugural US-India Indian Ocean Dialogue, focused on Indo-Pacific region security, as per a statement by the US State Department.
On November 12, the US Department of State had said that the US Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell would visit from November 13-14 for the dialogue to be held in the national capital.
On Wednesday, the spokesperson said, “Due to flight issues, Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell and Principal Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer will have meetings virtually with Indian counterparts.”
