Bargarh- In a commendable initiative to enhance the quality of education and empower educators, a two-day residential teacher training program was successfully organized at Sanskar International School, Bargarh. The program, held on June 14 and 15, aimed at equipping teachers with modern pedagogical skills while grounding them in core educational values.
Renowned JCI National Trainers Mukesh Asar from Nagpur and Anup Mundra from Raipur led the sessions. The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony accompanied by the chanting of sacred mantras, setting a spiritually uplifting tone for the intensive training sessions that followed.
On the first day, the focus was placed on goal setting and strategies to achieve educational objectives, with detailed deliberations on how these principles could be effectively implemented in the classroom. Both trainers emphasized aligning personal growth with professional responsibilities, empowering teachers to become changemakers.
The school’s Director, Mr. Siddharth Sawadia, addressed the gathering and shared an inspiring message: “Every child has the potential to become a champion if guided in the right direction. At Sanskar, we identify and nurture each child’s unique qualities to help them achieve their best.”
Principal Mr. Karan Sahu underscored the importance of integrating traditional values with modern education. “In today’s fast-paced world of innovation and technology, it’s crucial for educators to embrace change while staying rooted in our cultural ethos,” he said, encouraging the teachers to make the most of such learning opportunities.
Director Mr. Ajit Pattnaik highlighted that this training would instill courage and competence in teachers to face dynamic classroom challenges. Chairman Mr. Suman Sawadia likened a teacher’s growth to that of a growing tree: “Just like a tree matures through experience and time, teachers too expand their knowledge and insight through such training, ultimately benefiting the lives of their students.”
The entire event was smoothly coordinated by teacher Anwesa Biswal, and the enthusiastic participation of pre-primary teachers was notably appreciated. Around 80 teaching staff, including both male and female educators, actively took part in the sessions, bringing in immense energy and commitment that made the training all the more impactful.
The program was a grand success, not only in terms of participation but also in terms of the valuable insights it offered to the teaching community. It served as a platform for self-reflection, professional collaboration, and the shared goal of educational excellence.
Sanskar International School continues to emerge as a pioneer in holistic education in the Bargarh region, with its emphasis on teacher development, student-centric learning, and an inclusive educational environment.
