Bhubaneswar-Odisha’s Agriculture Secretary, Dr. Arabinda Padhee, participated in the 29th Conference of Parties (COP-29) held in Baku, Azerbaijan. During the event, he highlighted the state’s innovative and sustainable agricultural practices, showcasing Odisha’s success stories to a global audience.
The conference, organized by World Without Hunger and other agricultural organizations, provided a platform for discussions on environmentally friendly and farmer-centric agricultural development. Dr. Padhee’s contributions shed light on the best agricultural practices implemented by Odisha’s Agriculture Department.
Last year, Dr. Padhee represented India at COP-28 in Dubai, where he was a speaker at the India Pavilion. Additionally, at Cambridge University, he addressed the critical topics of climate change and evidence-based policymaking for transforming food systems.
Dr. Padhee’s consistent participation in global forums underscores Odisha’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and climate-resilient policies.
