Jaipur – A Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) reportedly crashed near Bhanuda village in Ratanhgarh, Churu district of Rajasthan. Local police and administrative teams have reached the crash site.
Eyewitnesses from the village claim to have found human remains scattered across the area, suggesting the pilot may have died in the accident. A large crowd gathered at the scene following the incident.
According to initial reports, the downed aircraft was part of the IAF’s fleet. The crash comes shortly after another similar incident on Wednesday night in Gujarat’s Jamnagar district, where an IAF Jaguar crashed near Subarna Road village, sparking a massive fire.
Earlier this year, on March 7, another IAF fighter jet had crashed in Ambala district of Haryana. Fortunately, in that instance, the pilot managed to eject safely, and no major damage was reported.
Investigations into the latest crash are underway.
