Bijapur (Chhatisgarh)- In yet another horrifying act of violence, Maoists have brutally killed two villagers in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district, reigniting fears and grief among local communities. The tragic incident took place in the villages of Chhotubai and Bade Tarrem under the Tarrem police station limits.
According to local sources, the victims—50-year-old Yoga Kwasi from Chhotubai and 55-year-old Manglu Kursam from Bade Tarrem—were targeted and murdered by Maoists with sharp-edged weapons. The attack is believed to be a deliberate act of terror aimed at instilling fear in the region.
This incident marks a disturbing continuation of Maoist violence in the tribal heartlands, where innocent villagers are often caught between insurgent brutality and the struggle for security. The authorities are expected to launch a full-scale investigation into the killings and intensify security operations in the affected areas.
