Bhubaneswar: IAS officer Manoj Kumar Sahoo has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The announcement was made on Saturday through a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department.
Sahoo, who is currently serving as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, will now take on the responsibilities of this pivotal role. The position of Private Secretary to the Chief Minister is designated as equivalent in rank and responsibility to that of a Special Secretary in the IAS cadre of Odisha.
This appointment underscores the trust and confidence placed in Sahoo’s administrative capabilities and his continued commitment to supporting the Chief Minister’s office in governance and public service.
