President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, is set to embark on a five-day visit to Odisha from December 3 to 7, 2024. The visit will include a series of important events and engagements across the state. On Dec 3 The President will commence her visit by unveiling a new statue of Pandit Raghunath Murmu in Bhubaneswar. She will also visit the Adim Owar Jarpa Jaher, a cultural and spiritual site, in the state capital. On Dec 4 In Puri, the President will offer prayers at the iconic Shri Jagannath Temple. She will then attend the 75th-anniversary celebration of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. Later, she will grace the Navy Day celebrations and witness an operational demonstration at the Blue Flag Beach in Puri. On Dec 5 , In Bhubaneswar, the President will preside over the 40th convocation ceremony of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology. She will also inaugurate the newly built Judicial Court Complex in the city. On Dec 6 at Uparbeda, the President will interact with students and villagers. Later in the day, she will visit Rairangpur to engage with the students and teachers of Mahila Mahavidyalaya, emphasizing her commitment to education and empowerment. On Dec 7, The President will conclude her visit with a series of inaugurations and foundation stone-laying ceremonies. These include rail line projects such as Bangiriposi-Gorumahisani, Buramara-Chakulia, and Badampahar-Kendujhargarh; a Tribal Research and Development Centre in Rairangpur; Dandbose Airport in Rairangpur; and the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Rairangpur.
