Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhubaneswar this evening for a two-day visit to Odisha. He is set to attend the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention tomorrow, a flagship event that fosters connections between the Indian diaspora and their homeland.
The Prime Minister landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport aboard a special aircraft. Enthusiastic crowds lined the roads to greet him as he made his way to the Raj Bhavan, where he will stay overnight.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention, organized in partnership with the Odisha government, is taking place in Bhubaneswar from January 8 to 10, 2025. It serves as a crucial platform for the Indian diaspora to network and engage with each other and the nation.
This month, the Prime Minister will return to Odisha to participate in the “Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025” on January 28. The event is Odisha’s premier investment summit, highlighting the state’s growth potential and industrial opportunities.
